Cooler and Wetter Weekend Ahead Then Drying-out Monday

Saturday, October 11th, 2008 7:14am MDT

The expected high temperature for Saturday has been lower about 5 degrees to the low 40’s, The drizzle that is already present this morning will change to rain showers along with possible thunderstorms are forecast to arrive this afternoon. As for snow, don’t get to excited about the snow that has been in a lot of the media’s forecasts this week, it just doesn’t look like the temperature’s are going to support that idea. With that said, You may see a few flakes(snow flakes) mixed with rain tonight. It does appear that most of the snow will be dumped in Summit County, can you hear the in cheering in Ski Country?

Sunday the clouds and rain showers are probably going to hang around most of Sunday and continue into Monday morning and at this point it looks like the sun will return Monday afternoon and begin drying things out. Sundays high temp’s are forecast to be in the mid 40’s and Mondays temps are forecast to warm to near 50 degree’s.
